How to Get to Shala River?
By Boat
Shala River can be reached by boat from Koman Terminal. Departing from Komani at 09:30 am, you will arrive at the Shala River by 10:45 am, allowing around four hours to soak in the fresh air, swim, explore the surroundings, and capture unforgettable memories. The return journey is scheduled daily at 14:00, with an arrival back at Koman at 15:30.

How to Get to Shala River from Shkoder or Tirana?
From Tirana
- Direct bus line to Komani Lake: These minibuses leave Tirana at 05:30 am from Gazheli fuel station. ( return to Tirana is at the same place ) You may need to book in advance for the bus/tour.
- Public Transport: Travel from Tirana to Shkodra first, there are fixed public transport lines with minibuses departing early in the morning, in “Bus Terminal of the South & North”. then you have to switch buses and travel from Shkoder to Koman. Make sure to arrive in Koman before 9:00 am.
From Shkoder
- Day Trip: The van, marked with the ‘Ferry Berisha’ logo, departs from Hotel Rozafa at 6:45 am and arrives at Shala River between 10:45 am and 11:00 am
- From Valbona & Fierza: If you’re in Valbona or coming from Kosovo, you will need to head to the Fierza Port. For a better experience it is better to start from Fierze at 06:00am with Boat Dragobia.
